With Love handmade background card (The Greeting Farm stamp)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I was looking at some mixed media background tutorials on Youtube the other day and then this morning I saw my lovely crafty friend, Wendy Nicola Jackson's gorgeous mixed media background card for her niece and it totally inspired me to give it a try. Chase Your Dreams navy card (Bugaboo image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I had a challenge for a magazine of creating 7 cards with one 30x30cm sheet of patterned paper. So you may recognise this navy and teal paper in a few previous posts already. They are all very different cards so I was happy with my creations and it was less tricky than I expected. I printed out the Bugaboo sentiment in a navy blue to match the paper.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

A Gem of a Challenge - 3 x B items - blue, butterflies, branches, bling
Catch the Bug - anything goes (Bugaboo image used)

Green & Yellow Birthday Boy card (Bugaboo image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

Here's my first of a few cards tonight and I created this one with an image from Bugaboo. I love how easy their images are to colour. I love the thick black lines, much easier not to colour out of the lines so much hehe and I love the overall look that it gives too to clean, simple style cards.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

A Gem of a Challenge - 3 x B items - boy, blue jeans, bright, bling
Catch the Bug - anything goes (Bugaboo image)
Come and Get it - cards for kids

Lilac & green Spring card (Crafts & Me/Hannah Lynn image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

Oh how I love a Hannah Lynn image! Aren't they divine? You can find them at Crafts and Me. I coloured her with my Copics and then coloured a grey background which looked terrible, way too dark as I'd already used darker colours so I fussy cut her out and added lots of white to my card as it's supposed to be a Springtime card. I used greens for her hair (YG91-99 plus YG03).

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

AllSorts - spring inspiration
Aloha Fridays - flowers
CCC Digi Creations - ribbon and/or lace (both)
Copic Marker Norge - bingo - layered, die, text
Crafts and Me - Springtime (Hannah Lynn image)
Crafty Calendar - Mother's Day/special female
Crafty Gals Corner - add ribbon
Creatalicious -  anything goes with optional twist: use lots of green
Deep Ocean - add lace
Digi Choosday - anything goes
Jo's Scrap Shack - anything goes
Not Just Cards - spring
Open-Minded Crafting Fun - flowering in Feb
Pile it on -  monsters and/or fairies
Ribbon Girl - use any image
Sparkles - Love
Tuesday Throwdown - things with wings
Word Art Wednesday - anything goes

Checkered Spring coloured fairy card (Lacy Sunshine image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I have gone crazy creating this week, my mojo is back this year and I'm so happy about that! At the end of last year I seemed to have a bit of trouble but I have some lovely cards still yet to post, I will post them in the coming days I'm sure.

I love this beautiful fairy from Lacy Sunshine, isn't she so sweet? I cropped her a little as sometimes I like the faces and hair to be larger, half because it's easier to colour larger images and also because I like the look of the bigger images. I had added the lace and ribbon then realised I wanted to pop her underneath but she didn't quite fit! I decided I loved the look of the image peeking from the top of the card anyway so sometimes it's a happy accident isn't it?

I used some gorgeous green leaves from our Flourish with a Bling store, make sure to follow our blog as we only need 7 more followers until we give away a beautiful bling pack (worldwide).

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

AllSorts - Spring inspiration
CCC Digi Creations - ribbon and/or lace (both)
Crafty Gals Corner - add ribbon
Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper - anything goes with patterned paper
Creatalicious - anything goes with optional twist: use lots of green
Deep Ocean - add lace
